Each venue’s page shows what is going on around it, so you can plan what to play: a rainy weekend, a hot afternoon, a festival next week. This is for you in the console; nothing here is shown on your screens.
What you see
- Weather now: temperature, what it feels like and humidity, and the next three days with how much rain is expected.
- Sunrise and sunset at the venue, in its own time.
- Air quality, where it is switched on, on OpenWeather’s scale of 1 to 5: Good, Fair, Moderate, Poor, Very poor, with the PM2.5 and PM10 readings.
- Holidays and festivals coming up: UK bank holidays for venues in the UK (England and Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, from the address); national holidays for venues in India, plus Telangana’s holidays and festivals such as Bonalu and Bathukamma for venues in Telangana. Dates that depend on the moon are marked date may move.
Where it shows
- Venue page: the full card, under the address and opening hours.
- Screen page: one line for the screen’s venue, under the summary.
- Venues → Map: one card per zone (or per city for venues with no zone), with the weather, air, rain coming up, sunset and the next holiday.
Getting it to show
- Give the venue its address with Search (Venues → the venue → Edit), so it has a position on the map. Weather, air quality and sunrise need it.
- Make sure the address has its country (and state, for Telangana and Scotland or Northern Ireland). Holidays follow it.
The weather is fetched once for each small area (about 5 km), about every 30 minutes, and each card says when it was last updated. Weather data from MET Norway (the Norwegian Meteorological Institute); air quality © OpenWeather.
