A venue is a place your screens are in: a restaurant, a gym, a clinic, a shop. Give each screen its venue and you can work with all of a venue’s screens at once, and with every venue in an area or of one kind.
How it fits together
- City: taken from the venue’s address, so there is nothing to set up.
- Zone: your own areas, such as Koramangala or North London. Make the list under Venues → Zones and choose one on each venue.
- Venue: its name, category, address, opening hours, a contact name and phone, and its zone.
- Placement: where a screen sits inside a venue, such as Entrance, Bar counter or Waiting area. Optional; make the list under Venues → Placements and set it on the screen.
- Categories: restaurant, café, bar, clinic, gym, retail, mall, office, residential, hotel, education, temple, coworking, pharmacy, other.
Add a venue and its screens
- Go to Venues → Add venue. Enter its name and category, search its address, and choose a zone if you use them.
- Set its opening hours, or leave it open all the time.
- On the venue’s page, choose Add screens to this venue and tick the screens. You can also pick a screen’s venue and placement in its Settings.
Use it everywhere
- Send and schedule: pick a venue, zone, city, category or placement and all its screens are chosen; you see how many before you send.
- Screens → Filters: list the screens of a venue, zone, city, category or placement.
- Opening hours: a screen with no turn-off times of its own turns off while its venue is closed. Its settings say from venue. Give the screen its own times to override this.
- Reports: filter proof of play by venue, zone, city, category or placement, and see plays By venue on screen and in the Excel file.
