A file can reach a screen through its playlist, a schedule, a layout or a direct send, and the same playlist often plays on many screens. So taking a file off asks how far you want to go, and shows every screen it changes before anything happens.
From a screen
Open the screen, then Content → On this screen. Next to any file, choose Take off… and pick one:
- Only on this screen: this screen stops playing it. The file stays in its playlists and every other screen keeps playing it. It shows under Skipped here with Undo.
- From selected playlists: tick the playlists to take it out of. Each one says how many screens play it, because the change applies to all of them.
- From all playlists and direct sends: taken out of every playlist and off every screen it was sent to. The file stays in your Library.
- Delete the file: taken off everywhere, then deleted with its TV copies for good.
From the Library
Open a file and its Screens and playlists panel. Tick screens and choose Only on chosen screens: skip to stop it on just those screens, including screens that get it through a playlist. You can also take it out of chosen playlists there, or off screens it was sent to directly.
Undo a skip from the screen’s page or from the same panel.
