Last updated 25 October 2026. These terms are between QuantumLayer Platform Ltd, trading as VisionMagic (registered in England and Wales, company no. 16381947, 86–90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE; “we”), and the business that signs up or orders the service (“you”). VisionMagic is for businesses, not for consumers. If you have a signed order or partner agreement with us, it comes first where it says something different.
The service
VisionMagic lets you put your content on screens: the web console at v2.visionmagic.co.uk, the VisionMagic box app for Android TV boxes, our help and support, and features you switch on such as Instagram feeds, venue context, suggestions and the Claude and ChatGPT connector. We improve the service all the time; we won’t take away something you rely on without telling you first.
Your account
- Keep sign-in details private and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
- You decide who is on your team and what they can do. You are responsible for what happens in your workspace.
- Partners who run screens for other businesses are responsible for their customers’ use of VisionMagic and for having their permission to manage their screens and content.
Your content
- You keep all rights in the pictures, videos, playlists and other content you add. You let us store, convert, copy and send it to your screens, and show it in your console, only to run the service for you.
- You must have the right to show everything you put on your screens, including music, fonts, logos, other people’s photos and anything from Instagram.
- Content on screens in public places must follow the advertising rules where the screen is: in the UK the CAP Code (ASA), in India the ASCI Code and local rules. No illegal, hateful, misleading or adult content.
- We may take content off screens, or pause a screen, if we reasonably believe it breaks the law or these terms, and we will tell you why.
Boxes and screens
Screens, TV boxes, power and internet at the venue are yours unless we agree otherwise in writing. Our box app may update itself; you can ask us to hold updates for a screen. If you leave the service, the box app stops receiving new content and keeps playing what it saved until you remove it.
Using it fairly
Don’t try to break, overload, copy or resell the service except as our partner agreement allows; don’t probe it for weaknesses without our written permission (tell us about security problems at hello@visionmagic.co.uk); don’t use it to collect personal data about people in your venue.
AI features
Suggestions, tags and text written by AI can be wrong. Nothing reaches a screen until a person on your team approves it, and you are responsible for what you approve. We use Anthropic’s Claude to provide these features, as our privacy policy explains.
Fees
Prices and payment terms are in your order, invoice or partner agreement. Unless they say otherwise, fees are per screen per month, invoiced in advance, payable within 14 days, and exclude VAT or GST. We may suspend screens after telling you if an invoice is more than 30 days late. We give at least 30 days’ notice of a price change.
Availability and support
We work to keep VisionMagic running all the time and plan maintenance for quiet hours. Screens keep playing what they saved if the internet or our servers are down. We don’t promise uninterrupted service unless a signed agreement includes a service level.
Ending the service
- You can stop at any time; paid periods are not refunded unless the law or your order says so.
- We can end the service with 30 days’ notice, or at once if you seriously break these terms.
- When it ends you can export your content and reports for 30 days; after that we delete your workspace as our privacy policy describes.
Responsibility
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else the law does not allow to be limited.
- Neither of us is liable for loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill, or for indirect loss.
- Otherwise our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in those 12 months (or £100 if that is more).
- You are responsible to us for claims caused by content you put on screens.
Personal data
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data. Where we process personal data for you (for example in your content or your team’s accounts), we do so only on your instructions and to run the service, with the safeguards set out there. Ask us for our data processing terms if you need them in writing.
Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms; we will tell workspace owners about important changes at least 30 days before they apply. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales decide any dispute. Questions: hello@visionmagic.co.uk.
